Terms of Service

By accessing or using Polyglot (“the Service”), including the CLI tool, API, and dashboard, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Polyglot provides an internationalization platform consisting of command-line and editor tools, an open GitHub Action, translation APIs, a web dashboard, and optional managed GitHub Apps. The Service can detect untranslated strings, generate and review translations, report repository checks, synchronize the catalogs you have consented to share, verify catalog-only candidates, and create or update translation pull requests.

You may use certain features without an account (guest mode). To access the full Service, you must register and provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys.

You agree not to:

You retain ownership of the source code, catalog content, and repository data you submit. You represent that you are authorized to connect the selected account and repositories and to request the configured checks, catalog synchronization, branch creation, commits, and pull requests. You grant Polyglot a limited license to process that content and perform those requested repository operations solely to provide the Service. Polyglot does not write directly to the default branch and does not use your content to train models. GitHub remains a third-party platform governed by its own terms.

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Usage beyond your plan limits may result in service throttling until the next billing period.

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. GitHub-integrated functions also depend on GitHub, GitHub Actions, repository permissions, branch rules, and third-party platform availability. The local CLI and self-managed Action may remain usable when managed services are unavailable, subject to the operation being performed.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Polyglot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain anonymized usage data. You may export your translations at any time via the CLI or API.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
